Bulgogi Burger

Ingredients
  1. 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  2. 1/4 cup sesame seed
  3. 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  4. 2 tablespoons gochujang
  5. 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  6. 5 scallions, chopped
  7. 5 cloves garlic, grated
  8. 2 tablespoons grated ginger
  9. 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  10. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  11. 6 burger buns
  12. 14 ounces kimchi
Instructions
  1. Mix all of the marinade ingredients together (everything except the beef, buns, and kimchi) and it will be a paste like consistency. Mix the paste with the beef. This mixture can be used immediately or left to marinade in the fridge for up to a few days.
  2. Form the meat into thin burger patties and grill for about 7 minutes per side to medium-well, or longer if you prefer.
  3. Serve patties on the burger buns, and top with kimchi.
