Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/4 cup sesame seed
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 5 scallions, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, grated
- 2 tablespoons grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 6 burger buns
- 14 ounces kimchi
Instructions
- Mix all of the marinade ingredients together (everything except the beef, buns, and kimchi) and it will be a paste like consistency. Mix the paste with the beef. This mixture can be used immediately or left to marinade in the fridge for up to a few days.
- Form the meat into thin burger patties and grill for about 7 minutes per side to medium-well, or longer if you prefer.
- Serve patties on the burger buns, and top with kimchi.
